“Poppy is not sure she’s ready for another baby, Eddie thinks it will be a little girl and Bronte is excited to be a big sister but really has no idea what’s she’s in for.”

The mum added the hashtags #wemustbeslightlybonkersorsuckersforpunishment and #butwecannottwaittoofficiallycompleteourfamily to the post.

After the birth of youngest daughter Bronte in 2019, Trickett spoke to 7NEWS.com.au about her motherhood journey.

“It’s probably not been as bad as I thought it would be, but it certainly hasn’t been easy by any stretch of the imagination,” she said.

“It’s incredibly challenging, just to navigate new personalities and learning a new person and what they’re interested in, what their likes and dislikes are, and how to get them to sleep as best as you can.

“Every journey, I found, has been incredibly different for me with my girls. The big girls have probably been the hardest, to be honest – Bronte has been a very different newborn compared to the first two.”

She also opened up about how she tries to keep her social media profile “real”, showing all sides of motherhood.

“I’m too lazy to have a perfectly aesthetic Instagram account,” Trickett said.

“At the same time, I think it’s important to show all of the elements of parenthood.

“I try and show the fun parts, as there are always fun parts and joyful parts of bringing new people into this world – and what a privilege and what an amazing thing that I’ve gotten to do, and I’ve done that three times with three very beautiful little girls.

“It’s incredibly challenging. It can get super boring, it can get super repetitive. It can be just bone-achingly exhausting at different points as well.

“I’ve never spoken about poo or vomit in my whole life – and I didn’t know it would be a topic of discussion on the daily with my family and friends.”
