My 3000lb Family star Casey King says he now has ‘girls in his DMs’ as he is flooded with ‘many compliments’ after shedding more than 570lb
My 3000lb Family star Casey King, who used to bathe outside in a trough, says he is now flooded with “many compliments” after shedding over 570lb.
The reality star, 38, says he has people hitting on him and ‘flirting in his DMs’ following his dramatic body transformation sparked from an intense diet.
Casey underwent surgery to remove part of his stomach and he sticked to a full-on fitness regime and he managed to lose exactly 579lb.
It was after his surgery that he became determined to lose more and totally transform his lifestyle – Casey recently admitted that he “started getting so many compliments”.
Opening up about his loss, he explained: “It was so foreign for a girl to find me attractive, but I started getting messages on Instagram, more likes on Tinder and Bumble.
“People from high school kept telling me how great I looked and saying I was cute and attractive. People were hitting on me.”

He told The Sun: “I got a girl’s number at McDonald’s – she gave it to me, I didn’t have to ask for it. I was so amazed. People were now flirting with me in DMs.”
While on the hit-TLC show, Casey previously explained: “Because I’m a bigger guy with, like, folds and flaps, I have to move around almost like a pig.
“I have to lift up literal pieces of skin. It’s just a seriously difficult process.”
At the time, he admitted to spending his days playing video games naked and sadly claimed: “I will just eat till I’m dead”.
Casey said he enjoyed playing video games because he was “accepted” in the virtual world.
“No one sees me. That is my outside. That is my world that I can be the Casey I want to be, but not be judged on my weight,” he said.
When Casey appeared on the show, he was unemployed and living with his father, Danny, who had to wait on him hand and foot.
He admitted: “I never would’ve thought at 34 I’d be living with my father, and I’d have no job, have no real money, and just be playing video games all day and eating.”
Casey now takes to Instagram to share pictures of his slimmed down figure. In a recent snap he looked ready to hit the gym wearing a hoodie and sweatpants.
“He captioned the post: “Its been a ride for sure, I’m glad I’m here to experience it all and have the opportunity to continue making memories with my #friends and #family.”
